This past weekend Boum and Ayasha went up North to the cottage. While there, Boum had a close encounter with an unidentified creature. He claims to have fended it off, but not without a little damage to his attire in the process. According to Boum though, "you should see the other guy".
With such a traumatic experience, we wanted to interview Boum to get to the bottom of the situation. Below is the interview.
ME: Boum, what happened? Can you walk us through it?
BOUM: It all happened so fast, but I remember it vividly. I stepped out of the car upon arriving at my human Grandma's house and didn't get 10 feet before the attack happened. I barely had time to fend off my attacker. I thought I was a goner for sure, but then my killer instincts kicked in and not only did I fend off my attacker, but I got a sweet piece of him, sending him into the woods terrified.
ME: Do you have anything to substantiate that an attack actually took place.
BOUM: You bet I do. My Mama JUST bought me a new bib on Friday (see picture #1) and look what that guy did to me? (see picture #2 and #3) I was able to pull my bib from over my head before the guy really did any damage. I'm ticked though.... that bib was really starting to grow on me.

Picture #2 (I also got a sweet hair cut!)
Picture #3
ME: Wow Boum, that's serious stuff. You sure are tough! Do you have any idea what attacked you?
BOUM: Well, I am not very good at identifying species, but if I saw a picture of it I'm 100% confident I could pick him out.
ME: Ok Boum, here are a couple pictures - do any of these look like your attacker?
BOUM: It was DEFINITELY #1!!!! Holy cow, I would remember that guy anywhere!!! That colour gives him away - he was tan - just like that guy
ME: Hmmmm..... Boum, your story has become suspect..... I am fairly sure you were not attacked by a lion in Ontario, Canada.
BOUM: No, for sure, that's the guy.
ME: It wasn't that last guy by any chance, was it Boum? You know, your cousin Dax....?
BOUM: Nope, that guy would never get a piece of me Mama - I'm way tougher than Dax - it was a lion without a doubt.
You guys can be the judge..... we've decided to "let Boum have this one" - from now on he goes by the name of Boum Lion Wrangler Bond (yes, as in James Bond because he's THAT awesome).
Oh, also - no dogs were injured during any of this! Boum had his bib on and Dax stole it and took it into the woods to chew on it!
