Had to share with you guys what Pooka did this morning. Sandy got up to take the dogs out, as I was being very lazy. He walked them downstairs, and went outside - leaving the door open because Pooka was lagging behind and was still upstairs when Sandy and Nanook were exiting the door.
This meant that Pooka was completely alone when he reached the first floor, and discovered the bag of chicken jerky dog treats open on the floor.

One of the cats is obsessed with these treats, and will manage to open them and knock them off counters and tables etc so he can get at the contents inside. Clearly that was what happened - The Handsome Cat stole the bag, opened it, and left it open on the floor. Still full of treats, his tiny cat tummy can only hold so much. And there it was when Pooka discovered it, probably surrounded by little crumbs of delicious chicken jerky because The Handsome Cat is not a particularly tidy eater.
And do you know what Pooka did next?
He picked up the bag, and brought it outside to his Papa, handed it over to a startled Sandy, and then politely requested a treat.
Best. Dog. Ever.
