Aurora may be getting a Newfie brother.

We weren't planning another puppy so soon after losing Poseidon. I had been on a waiting list w/ Poe's breeder for what seemed forever to add another Newfie to our family. When we suddenly lost our Poe, we put the thought of another pup on hold. Well, in staying in touch w/ the breeder, she thought I should just consider looking at this pup. She knew we were originally looking for a black, but was so impressed w/ this litter, especially this pup. My husband never considered a brown, but thought maybe having another black might make him think too much of Poe. We have to make a decision soon.

You know, I think there is very good logic in considering a brown. This way the pup gets to be himself with no inadvertent comparisons. (The fact that he looks like a Gund teddy bear has nothing to do with my feelings here.)
