Æstrid comes from the old norse saga's and it basically means beautiful one of the gods. My family is Danish, og jeg taler dansk (and I speak danish... well, a little) and it is an old danish name that you hear in Denmark. Etta for short. I just like the way it sounds.

Nasus - how cool, I hardly ever run into someone that can understand Danish - even the Danes joke that they don't speak Danish. I think it's handy how similar the scandanavian languages are. Much easier to read than understand, though.
