Anybody interested????

I am particpating with an on-line group in a fun dog training activity and thought it may be fun to do here on Newf Net. Each week our group is given a household item we must use in a trick with our dog. We use shaping with the dogs for whatever trick we can come up with using that particular household item.

We have a week to train the trick and then post the results on-line for the group to see. Posting can be pictures or a video. It's great fun and builds such a nice relationship with your dog.

This past week we had to use a book. Here is what I did with my guys using a book.



This week we were given the challenge of a chair. Do I have any takers? We could say the deadline for the trick can be next Friday.

Truman loooooves reading! This would be really cute to use / do in local elementary schools. I'm sure kids would get a kick out of seeing them "read" and it might inspire a few to do the same...

Anne, the trick can be anything with the chair. Lizze and Magic can do it!!

I was talking about the trick this morning, my thought was to have them put their front feet on the chair.....and then I got "what are you crazy, think ahead"..... all you need to do is teach them that and they will be at the table for breakfast, lunch and dinner. lol

So now I must think out of the box and think ahead....a bit to much thinking for me-lol Back to the drawing board!
