Annie is gone

Annie, the Butter-Licking Ferret-Dog of lore (http://ferret-dog.com) is no longer with us. She had cancer and as a result had only three legs even though eight months ago she was chasing her tail in front of the TV. Though she had fought the good fight and only had one chemo treatment to go, she took a sudden turn for the worse at which point we did the most difficult of things and helped her on her way.

She was the spunkiest, most irritating, lovable dog that ever forced her way into a curmudgeon's heart. I miss her.
