Yep, will be there without dogs. I usually fill in as dog washer and bucket bitch. Have a painting in the fine arts auction, but that's about it. Fun, fun, fun trip for me.

I may go. It will be a last minute decision depending on how many boarding dogs we have. Since it will be last minute, I'll not be making any advanced hotel reservations so if I go I'll probably be dogless. I will have my camera in tow!

Entering Obedience, but not sure what level yet. One of the CGC Evaluators on Thursday, Working at the Fine Arts Auction, Honors and Rescue Parades, and Generally having fun!

Hiya folks, I haven't been here for a long time, mainly because I lost Breeze and then a year later Hamish. Having adopted rescues and rehomes for nearly 27years, my hubby and I decided to have a break for a while.
However, after 2 and half years and some major health issues for both of us, we're back on the newfie treadmill! We received a phone call from the UK rescue asking if we would be willing to take a 9 year old re home. As soon as I can remember how to post photos I will introduce Bailey. His family were forced to give him up due to very sad circumstances. He's been well looked after and loved and we hope we can bring the sparkle back to his eyes, after he gets over the shock of losing his family.
Anyhow, the reason for this post (finally!) is that I will be in Michigan for the show in Frankenmuth, sadly only for one day, either the Wednesday or the Thursday, (the friend I'm staying with, will bring me.) I would love to meet any of the Newf Net folks, who will be there.

Frankenmuth

I've been to the show and I am back home in balmy 52F to 54F gale force winds, torrential rain and hailstones, Scotland!
A huge big thank you to Angela, who made me feel very welcome and made a point of going round the show and finding everyone (that I wanted to meet) I had ever spoken to on Newf-net.
I'm sorry I dont remember everyone's name but CMDR Ted and his lovely wife, Annie Miliron and quite a few others, along with strangers who just wanted to blether.
All of you were fabulous, I had a great time going round all the stalls and although due to size or weight I couldn't buy too much, I did get a fistful of business cards and web sites to visit on the net. All of the newfies, it goes without saying, were all stars in their own right.
So Angela, you are well named Super Moderator! Thank you for being so kind and helpful. To anyone who took any photographs of me with the people I met, would you please email them to me? Many thanks.
