Always trust your instincts

Traveler has been acting strangely the past couple of days: very lethargic, uninterested, not much appetite. I wasn't sure if he was missing Gracie, noticing a female coyote in heat or just bored, but I knew something was wrong. This morning he threw up what looked like everything he'd eaten yesterday, didn't eat this morning at all and turned up his nose at a piece of grilled chicken so I packed him in the car and took him to Tufts vet school. Xrays show an intestinal blockage. Thank god I took him in. Vet called at 11 p.m. after an ultra sound and says they'll see how he is in the morning re: if surgery still necessary. So I've learned again through experience that no matter how vague the symptoms may seem, if something doesn't seem right, trust my own gut. no pun intended.

Paws crossed for him and so glad you took him in. Hope that this shall pass without surgery.
Let us know.
