I had a little pre-term labor scare on Tuesday of last week, thanks to Pooka being a wee bit too enthusiastic about his daily walk, and asking if we could double it. Which I said yes to, because I am an idiot who doesn't want to admit I can't do everything I did pre-pregnancy at the moment.
Anyway, ever since the doctor has asked me to take it easy, so the boys have been getting significantly less exercise - A few days we've had a friend come by and walk them, but it isn't the same as getting a walk every day.
Which, I am certain, is what led to the wild hair that caused Pooka to COUNTER-SURF the remains of my sandwich off of the table today, while I was using the restroom. I came out of the restroom to find him still lovingly licking the deli paper clean, while Nanook looked on from the place where he'd been sitting since I started the sandwich, with a look of absolute horror on his face.
Pooka was completely unrepentant. Nanook - utterly transfixed with horror. I've never seen that look on Nanook's face before. He was in SHOCK. :shocker: Complete shock. He looked at Pooka like he was thinking, "It's like I don't even KNOW you anymore, dude." Either that, or he just couldn't believe he'd never thought of it before himself.
Needless to say, Pooka got a right royal reaming out, while Nanook was praised for not jumping on the Bad Dog Bandwagon with his brother.
I'm going to have to come up with some way to get the ants out of Pooka's pants, or I suspect this may be just the beginning...
