That's horrible! I hope that they change their procedures to keep this from happening again. :cry:

That is just horrible, I feel so bad for those poor dogs and their families. It sounds like the airline wasn't even following it's own procedures from what the article said the temps were already in the morning!

Shame, shame, shame American. Your rules apparently don't mean squat, when it comes to making a buck. WTH(eck) (see you thought I was going to use a different letter:fce32f95:), do you mean American "We are not associating any blame for this at this time." By your rules you were over the temperature limit BEFORE the flight. The dogs should have never been booked. Outrageous!:grrr::nono::cussing2: Feel really bad for the owners...............

Makes me feel safe for the people flying with them too....not

If they don't follow their own protocol with the dogs.. makes you wonder how many they skip over for the rest of the preparations...safety ones come to mind.... really scary.

Very sorry to hear of this losses. My heart goes out to the familys for the loss. They must be devastated.
