GREAT !! Thank you so much for the links! I am actually going to a newf grooming seminar next weekend to listen to Penny Shubert & Umberto Lehman; I really can't wait!!

Do you happen to know who the dog on the table was? A Gorgeous girl :) !

I really enjoyed watching those 2 videos. Seeing is very helpful.

The credits on Part 2 say who the dog is (a familiar name ;^)

What exactly is the name of the Shampoo & Conditioner? and where to buy?

I sent him a message. The trimming video is up but only loads a few seconds on my computer.

My pup's hair is curly on his back and I like it. Noticed lots of ppl want their show Newf's hair straight.

I have a detailed set of instructions for bathing a Maine Coon cat and it has some of the same advice as the lady in the OP video. It gives the rationale behind the advice which is very helpful. We are bathing Orka on Saturday and are going to try some of these methods.

The Newf is the video is so well behaved!

I know Penny mentions in the bathing video that she uses something stronger under the ears for the greasy spots. I went to one of her seminars and if I remember right, she uses Dawn dish washing detergent.

I want a brush like the one she's using. I see she held it up and talked about it briefly, but my brand new computer has no sound and I can't figure out why.
And every time I ask my groomer friend what kind of brush I need for the newfs she shows me a comb... Sigh.
I looked at the Ashley Craig brushes but the bristles didn't look like any of them to me...

Thanks, I closed the screen at "thank you", so missed the credits. She is a gorgeous girl, so thanks for the name :). I am really looking forward to the weekend, I know we'll learn a lot of little tips, and anyway it's always great to get together with some newfie friends ;) !

I saw that the trimming videos are online now too. I will have to watch them this evening!

Spoke with Penny last night while she was packing for her trip to England. She's leaving today. You'll love her info.

She said the shampoo won't come out until Dec. and that it really is fabulous stuff. All the products we buy and schlep in one! I'll be anxious to get some. I bet it's pricey, but if it keeps one from buying numerous products, it will be worth it in the long run.

nice info, wish they had shown perhaps a less well groomed newf as I know when Beau is done the amount of hair that comes off him is enormous and he is regularly groomed by me

I would love to but with my new job I have to work weekends which makes it so difficult and as I've only been there three weeks dont want to take any time off yet, hopefully if they are in England again then I will be able to get time off, can you ask them if they will be at Crufts next year as will be getting tickets for that

You should see the amount of hair she cuts off of Jill. Definitely more than a handful and she's groomed a lot. Some dogs just grow it faster and more profusely than others.

Penny groomed Bojie for me, just after his surgery this summer, and gave me a private one on one seminar. Love her!

Poking my nose in! LOL I checked the prices and they seem great to me! $19.99 for a liter I can't wait to try it. If Penny likes it ...you just know it's great stuff!
