Well....we did it...we are getting a baby!!!

Well we went to see the litter of tiny babies tonight...their eyes are even still shut.

We met Mom and Dad who are gorgeous.

We will get him (probably to be named Pipsy Bear) at 8 weeks...all ok....

SO...roll on June...wow...I am so excited!

By the way..do any of you take your newfies away in caravans with you? HOw do you cope?

yea a new puppy... By caravan do mean camper trailer. If so I take Sam in a small trailer 10 ft long. He take up the whole floor except when he is in bed with me.

...Caravan...ah, the UK. (I lived in Horsforth, outside of Leeds for a summer.)

We all fit in the t@b (just one calorie). Though trips to the beach just mean one big wet sandy bed! (Salty too!)

Actually, Truman curls up on the cool floor 1/2 under the bed with his nose at the door. Boy can he snore.

Just to share too much information, it's our Honeymoon mobile. We'll let you know how it works on an extended trip throughout August. Alaska...or The Yukon; what's a border between friends? No itinerary...just newf and us searching for the perfect quiet lake.

Hey truman.caravans in the UK are a bit bigger then that now (I think).....they are more like single wide trailers!!on wheels!!....most holiday parks(vacation parks).have the caravans set up ...abit like our trailer parks here in the US.only you pay to go stay in them for a vacation!

The only thing that might not mix well in the caravan with the Newf is if it is too warm.(i know that sounds odd for England, but I hear you guys have alot more warmer/hot days now)....or do caravans come with air conditioning now?.......I grew up in Carlisle, cumbria, and we use to go to Morcombe or Blackpool on holiday in the summer. so I know caravans!!!!lol

Hey ozzysma
How do you keep the dogs secure when you are camping?
Our caravan is a tourer which means it is about 13 feet long and we tow it on the back of our car.
Don't worry too much about warm weather...we may get some but probably not too much!!!

ozzy is usuallly on a tie out when camping or on a leash with me. he is never left at the campsite alone. sleeps inside with us at night.
