My son got married yesterday! What a beautiful and fun day we had. My son had most of the church in tears. He said he was good until he got to his place at the altar and saw us and then the rest of the family. Once he started it was like a domino effect and everyone was crying. I think he's told me he loves me more in the last two days than I can't remember when. 
The reception was just gorgeous, as was the bride. She majored in Trumpet at Roosevelt University here in Chicago and one of her professors has a band, actually an orchestra and they played for the wedding. It was great, a 4 piece jazz quartet during the cocktail hour and then the 17 piece orchestra for the rest of the night. My new daughter-in-law even got up there with them and played a song in her dress! They're on there way to Hawaii right now for their honeymoon. We're watching our grand-dog, Ruby the husky and her parents have the grand-kitty Ladybug.
