Without further delay.....
Introducing Bobby. He came home last Tuesday. He was born 3-17. He's already mastered the housebreaking thing.
As many of you know I have wanted another male landseer since my Gabriel passed in Sep of '14. I have mixed feelings about getting him right now since my Hannah is very ill. But I had the opportunity to get him and the thought of being newf-less when Hannah passes is scary.
I am not sure the name Bobby is going to stick. The breeder was calling him that because he only has about 1/3 of his tail. It was bent in utero and he had to have it amputated. I don't mind though. I think it's kind of endearing and when the hair gets long it will look okay.
Sorry the pic isn't better. My camera is not the greatest and he is not the best at posing for pics yet. I caught him in a rare still moment.

Oh my goodness!! You're killing me with the cuteness of both his front and back ! I love love love dogs with people names. Especially females with little old lady names and males with little boy names!

Oh well. I'm in love of course. I absolutely cannot resist a sweet Landseer puppy. I like the name, but he will probably tell you if that's what his name should be. And I'm sure there will be lots of nicknames to come. Looking at his cocked head and that mischievous expression in that first pic makes me think his future nicknames will be along the line of "Imp", "No-No", "Rascal", and such. LOL!

Congratulations on such a handsome little boy. I can't wait to watch him grow.

Thanks all. He really has helped fill the HUGE hole in my heart and the hurt I still feel from losing Gabe. I will always miss my boy every day, but this little one certainly brings joy.

Today he learned how to use the foam steps that were Gabriel's to get in the car and in the booster bath. He's a smart guy and eager to do whatever I show him. :book:

On the other hand, Hannah could use all good thoughts and prayers. I don't know how long she has left. We are just taking one day at a time and I let her do whatever makes her happy in the moment. She's getting spoiled a lot (more) too.
