Was Tug ever found?

I was searching for something newf related earlier and came up with loads of stories about a missing newf, Tug or Johnny, who was lost a couple of years ago in Chicago. Does anyone know if he was ever found?

I don't believe he was...not positive though. I'm sure others will chime in and give an update if they know better than I...

As far as I know, Johnny was never found. He was (people believe) seen with a person, whom was believed to be hiding him. Unfortunately he has never been found, even after trackers, and orthers actively were looking for him. Cissy was very instrumental in the hunt, but without good results. I have alsways felt bad for the family, and of course Johnny.

Yes....That was a very sad time. They were living our worst nightmare............

We can only hope that the person who took him at least loves him

we had a similar thing happen here, his name was blackjack and he dissappeared out of his back yard. he lived not to far from me and it still kind of haunts me!
