Video re: Keeping a Newf out of a pool

I received some great suggestions in another thread. And, while watching a video I took a couple of days ago, I noticed something that I had forgotten. Darcy is afraid (yes, she's quite wimpy) of the automatic pool cleaner that rolls around the bottom of the pool with the hose attached that flows on top of the water. You will see this in the middle of this video when our daughter throws the bumper for the second time; Darcy won't get it because it landed near that hose. So, I could get a used/broken cleaner with a hose attached and set it on the steps. I could also get a couple of other hoses and anchor them on the side of the pool so they dangle in. Ideas?

If she is anything like Snuffles, she will desensitize. No pool here, but Snffles use to run from the Dyson, but now he won't get out of my way till I get right by his nose and say, "Beep Beep"

Thank you all. We are going to try this new idea! Yes, Patti. Darcy wouldn't even step in the pool when you met her. And, how I regret ever coaxing her. It's a nightmare now!! (I think she would take to water training like ... a Newf to water.)
