A belated thank you to everyone for your well wishes! The "kids" had a great birthday, celebrating with steak!!!
We are truly blessed.. A few asked what's the secret... I don't think anything we did was the secret. While we do feed a good quality diet of premium kibble, including our own homecooked diet, we were just fortunate enough to have dogs from a pedigree where longevity was the norm rather than the exception.
I guess the old dog food commercial, Pedigree or Purina, can't remember which, had the saying, "First breed them right and then feed them right."
Other than that, we do NOT believe in over vaccination.. Oh, and they get lots of love and are spoiled rotten. Maybe that's the key... they think, "Life's good, not going anywhere!" :goofy:
