Two Newfs in Illinois

The word was put out on FB about Lilly and she was quickly adopted! Apparently, she had several people on a waiting list for her within hours of the FB posting.

They are all heart wrenching cases, either for the Newf or the owner (or both) but the one I feel saddest about is Dolly. Who is going to take a dog that needs $16,000 in surgeries? I feel sorry for the owner having to give her up to help her girl live a whole life, I know she loves her if she's willing to give her up to have a better life. It sounds as if Dolly would probably love to stay with her owner, too.

That's the one that touched me the most too...just a very sad, difficult place to be, for the both of them.
