Well, to answer most of the above. The "travel" part of the trailer really isnt going to happen. We have lake property and it will be parked, electric water and all. So gas, not much of an issue. thanks CMDRTED, sorry you were bored, I have been researching, 24/7 and I feel like my head is going to explode, any links are truly appreciated. so the short story is, buying a travel trailer is the mostest, worstest, mostest time consuming annoying process ever. Can you tell I might be a little frustrated. Either people expect you to roll up, trailer site unseen, expecting you to have 1000's of 100 dollar, unmarked bills waiting to hand them over willfully to them. I work closely with the banking industry, so I understand being wary. But, come on! So, last night, we go see the Taj Majal, looks great, big roomy, closets and pantries galore!! lights on, AC on yeah !!! then the moment of truth, lets just slide the sliders in, easy enough??? NOT. perfect travel trailer cant even travel.big old no. anyway, we are still looking out. 28-29 feet. max. Hubby wants for winter fishing. 35 feet would have been like hauling a semi around. anyway, I suppose the two weeks before Memorial Day might not be the best time to buy an RV. Anyway, my motto is: "everything happens for a reason", so at the right time, the right opportunity will arise. Thanks everyone. This seems to be ongoing story, so I will update later !! At this rate we should find a Trailer by this time NEXT year. God forbid!! eeek !
