Tomorrow is Benson's birthday

He would have been eight years old. I put together a slideshow to honor this newfie who changed my life is such a positive way. It will be a hard day but I'm really going to try to make it a happy day. If it's not too hot, we all will be going to the lake to celebrate this special boy's day.

The slideshow is a little long but I think you will enjoy it.

Wow. At 2 1/2 minutes the tears were flowing. Then I smiled and laughed at all the good memories and special bond you had. Then the tears started flowing again.

If only everyone could have that same bond with their dog. Benson was truly special. Happy Birthday Benson. I hope you enjoy it well celebrating with my Sara and Panda.

Oh Sue...I know you said not to, but I cried during almost every single second of it; some happy tears, but a lot of sad ones too. That was easily the most beautiful tribute video I've ever watched.

SUE! I warned you about your videos! Geez! I can't even watch a cotton commercial without crying!
I remember photo's of Benson from the minute I started here on NN, your bond with him was always something I wanted to strive for with Bojie. I have always LOVED seeing his photos. The lake is the best place to celebrate his birthday, I know he'll be there swimming along with his brothers in spirit, and forever in your heart.

Just want you to know how much I loved and adored Benson. John and I are so grateful for all the help that you and Benson gave us - it has always meant so much to us. I know his time here on earth was much too short, but Benson packed a lifetime of wonderful, happy moments into that short amount of time.
