Ticks...already

We're in upstate NY, just south of the Adirondack Park. We're just barely out of winter. Last night I found 20+ ticks on Quinn's head. He had been on trails at a local park.

I'm shocked they are out this early. March 14th!!!

Yeah, I've had to start frontlining the cats already, Wet kitty has been coming in all tickified. I try to wait until April 1 to frontline the newfs, but it looks like I will be starting today. : (

I pulled the first few off my dogs here in CT too. I thought I could get away with the April 1st advantix date but ended up starting it on March 10th.

I am sooooo glad we do not have ticks here EVER..........Take care with all the associated problems

up to about 30 now. Poor guy is being so patient with me coming after him with tweezers.

Frontlined today...never thought I'd need it in March.

Thanks for the reminder. I live in the "tick zone" this year with the girls, so really have to continue with it NOW, before I find any.. hate those things!

:uhoh2::uhoh2: I dont trust New England Weather, so I Frontline all year round..I read that it will be a bad tick year again because of all the rain..YIKES:banghead::banghead:

I remembered last years battle with the ticks...so we started early this year at the beginning of March. Haven't seen any yet...CROSSING FINGERS, TOES, AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT CAN BE CROSSED!

Hate those buggers!!! :beatdeadhorse:
