Thunder crossed the Rainbow Bridge

Niki I'm very sorry to hear of your terrible loss. It seems that the rainbow bridge is getting very crowded these days. Just know that Thunder is watching and waiting to see you again some day. Glad you found this site and hope it helps to ease the pain. Unfortunately, I've been in your shoes too many times, so I know how you are feeling. Hope you find some closure on why this happened to such a young guy.

Sar, unfortunately viri must be tested for by specific virus, unlike bacteria that one can test using Culture and Sensativity and growing specific bacteria. So, we don't know if it was some pneumo-virus, or something weird encountered at the vet on the visit 8 days before he died. My other 2 are fine, so we kind of ruled out virus and the bloodwork showed nothing growing at 5 days, so no bacteria. Which is strange since his temp was 106 when we got him to the vet. That always makes me think "infection", but I'm a human medical type not vetinary, so it gets very confusing for me.

My thanks to you and everyone for their comfort, help, prayers and well-wishes.
