Thoughts and Prayers for Indy

Indy sliced open one of the pads on a back foot yesterday. This morning she is at the vet's office getting a couple of stitches. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers while she goes through this procedure. Thanks!

Oh dear, sending good thoughts, it will heal up though. That happened to one of my friend's Newfs at the National and last w/e he was in the ring here getting BOB!

Just heard from the vet's office. She is out of surgery and recovering from the anesthesia. She is already standing and she will be ready to go home this afternoon. Now we just have to keep her from busting them open.

Prayers for Indy.

It's hard for a Newfy to have stitches in a paw pad. When Orka had his vitiligo biopsies the paw pad stitches bust open. The vet said it was healing well, granulating from within, but at the time it was a large open wound. We tried all sorts of bandages etc but he managed to pull everything off. It healed fast, no scar, no trace.

Since then he's matured and no longer is so fussy thank goodness!

Lots of hugs and extra love to Indy.
