I see a very large pic when I click on the link.

Thanks! Obviously it is of Monty. Just checking. All I did was go into my FB albums open a picture, then right clicked on the image, then clicked on "copy image URL" and then pasted it onto a NN post. I did this using Chrome and my FB privacy settings are set to Friends Only.

If this continues to work it is much easier for me to post images.

I did the same and it worked. Of course I always size my photos before uploading to FB. I always put smaller files online so if they are stolen a large photo cannot be made. Usually the size I post can only be made to a 5 x 7.

BTW if you lick on the insert picture link (looks like an envelope with mountains and a stamp) on the top of the message box you are posting in, the picture will come up and not just the link.

Here I inserted the link into the insert picture icon on the message box on NN.

I too resize to 800 as the max pixels on one side in general. This program is free and does a nice job or resizing. It can also limit the file size if possible for the picture size to under 97K so it can be uploaded directly here too http://www.irfanview.com/

How are you getting your link? The link you used was http://https//www.facebook.com/myra....1073741830.100006503402338&type=3&uploaded=1

I would think it would end with .jpg. Most I have done do.

I loaded a picture on FB and attempted to copy and paste that link into the picture icon on here. Gonna try again here at home on the mac
