Takota went for his first (since we got him in Nov) appointment with our groomer. We have worked hard on solving all his issues and today was a complete success! He even IGNORED 3 little yappy charging dogs on a flexi on the way out! That was a HUGE accomplishment for my dog reactive boy! And our groomer said he was great the entire time, bath, drying, crate, brush trim and tummy tunnel with clippers. He even let her grind his nails!
I am one extra proud mom today. We have come so far in the past 6 months. We did a little training in the pet store before the appointment and he was perfect even with other dogs moving around, I only had to tell him to "leave it" one time. Sits, stays, downs and heeling was awesome today. We also did quite well on our right and left, stop and sit right away too.
He walked out calmly and got to say hello to a lady and her two children (first time around kids since I've had him) and he was a perfect gentleman remembering to sit nicely the entire time.
I have a handsome white boy for a little while (until he hits the newfy water/mud park that is our yard right now after all the rain at least). lol
Here is Kota getting the finishing touches, grinding his nails.
