Spam pm??

Anyone else get a spam in the PM about buying prednisone in the UK? Very strange.

We're working on it.

The board has been infested with spam users. I get about 100 new users a day, with maybe two legit. It's a royal pain.

Egads GAD! (I've always wanted to say that). Seriously though, we won't be unhappy if you feel the need to go back to the old system, even if we lose NN now and again. Do whatever works best for you. There's no reason you should be hammered with unnecessary baggage, either spam wise or cost wise.

It has to do with the fact that this problem all but went away, so I stopped moderating new members. A couple slipped through, and bam - we're on some list so now I get 100 new members a day. My inbox is filled with notifications.

What's worse, the ones sending PMs are old - from before all of this, so I'm trying to weed out all the spam users from 1000s of real users.

I got one, and was all kinds of excited for about 1/2 a second- I thought someone had thought of some miracle drug for my poor kitty.
