She ate the Whole Thing!

Gracie helped herself to TWO POUNDS of pepperoni, the spicey stuff!!!, yesterday. She had us up 7 times last night to go out and pee. She is also drinking a lot ... the salt content?? This is the only sign we've had there was a reaction. Should I be worrying?

And the saga of Life with Gracie continues....

Oh Gracie! That's my favorite too, but 2lbs!
Of course it's Sunday but you may want to put a call into an emergency vet just to make sure that there is nothing in there that will hurt her. I would just watch for diarrhea and keep out lot's of water. I don't think the spiciness of it bothered her a bit if she continued to eat the rest of it.
Poor girl, I hope she is feeling better.

Aww hope she feels better from all that.

Ours got into my box of picture frames and bubblewrap last night. I guess they like fiber...I have more grey hair now then before we got them.

It is too late to give hydrogen peroxide, but I would call the ER vet to see that they recommend. I dont know if 2 pounds of pepperoni can cause bloat or not. I hope she feels better soon.

I doubt there is any problem from pepperoni. But, just like when they get too many doggie teats, I would be surprised if she DOESN'T get the splats.

Lots of water a must.

i also encourage the water to flush her system out! LOL
there was a schnauzer that lived in a tavern here near us, that was fed one to many beef sticks in one night, ended up with pancreas attack, so i would stay vigilant to make sure that doesnt happen to your gal.
good luck with her, she sounds like a spitfire indeed!

Hi, thanks for the concern everybody... she's just fine. I don't know whether to be
or  ... What a stinker this girl is!!! I'm still recovering from the prescription sunglasses she ate last week... grrrrrrrr. Today she also stole 2 burpless cucumbers from the counter top..... and ate them.

She is determined, stubborn and pigheaded and I love her to pieces ....... go figure

Linda and I were talking earlier when I suddenly remembered I had made zucchini bread, well........guess what is gone! Here I am making jokes with Linda about piggy Gracie guess that will teach me it also explains why neither Jake nor Bailee were much interested in breakfast this morning

Oh no! I was afraid this might happen. It appears that Gracie, Jake & Bailee somehow obtained a copy of the book!

And they are not fooling around either, they are going straight for the good stuff! Zucchini bread & Pepperoni, yum..yum.. :D
Seriously, I hope there tummy's are recovering nicely.

Wow, with manuals like that going around, Melissa, no wonder all our pooches are sampling everything!
But I do have to say, zuccini bread and pepperoni...yum. Can't say that I blame them.

We came home yesterday to our couch having been eaten, foam all over and found out who keeps ripping things up. The new aussie. We are going to try kenneling her. She ate the last kennel. A nice expensive mesh one. Grrrrr. Have a metal one on the way and she will be living in there a lot now.

I honestly think she would be happier on a ranch herding. Her instinct is so overpowering.

Hopefully the kennel will work. Now that we found the culprit in all this, the other dogs are happy and safe from verbal punishment.

More grey hair showing up on my head....
