one cannot say the entire litter is pet quality unless there are birth defects or serious faults.
one does not know what these pups will turn into unless they were from a puppy mill operation.
i tell my people it is an educated guess wich ones i *think* will end up show and wich ones may not, but actually some of them i can be wrong on, we wait until they are approx 12 months or a bit older to judge them than to see if they did turn out.
a lot of it has to do with the care they get also.

Thanks Karen for your info and support, but the problem is that I have a limited registration and I don't think the breeder is going to reverse it so I can breed Rory unless I show her first.

how does a co-ownership contract work? That is what our breeder used. What if the dog is not of breedable quality. Does the person who has the dog have the right to tell the breeder no on breeding that dog or bitch?
