River and her adoptive Mama, Marina were at Newfstock this weekend!!

I was lucky enough to catch this shot of River with her foster mom and adoptive mom after River just completed the obstacle course!!! I thought I better share this picture since so many of you helped River get the surgeries she needed!!

Thanks Kaila for posting this pic! I can't believe I didn't take any pictures at all at Newfstock! I was so busy all day socializing and doing the rounds with River. The really funny story is that after we went through the obstacle course we went over to the silent auctions to check on my bids, and while my back was turned, River jumped up and onto the picnic table! River loves to have a good time no doubt about it!
Her foster mom, Erica, is obviously so special to River. Every time Erica was in sight, River pulled until she was by her side. I am so glad those two had the day to visit. I can only imagine what they went through together with double surgeries and rehab....River hasn't forgotten how Erica cared for her. She is a wonderful person!
Newfstock was a terrific day. Every person I spoke to (and there were so many) all knew about River's story. She was a popular girl. I won a few prizes, bought some new Newfy stuff and met tons of fellow Newf lovers. It was a totally success in my opinion.

Is that the sweet puppy who got my credit card declined in Hawaii?? I donated from my home in Michigan to River's surgery in Ontario, boarded a plane to Hawaii a few days later, stopping in LA where I likely also used my credit card, got to Hawaii and my credit card company said "Enough! Who's using this card anyway??"

It all worked out. And it was totally worth it. Look at their faces! :hugs:
