Reason To Celebrate And Say Thank You

Looks fab.

Funny, I was browsing your dogs available for adoption and I saw a Landseer named Mabel and some videos of her doing "zoomies." I laughed and laughed, finally having the proper name for this.

I usually call it "crackerdog" after Tricky Woo in the James Herriot books but "zoomies" is exactly the right word. I've got to tell my husband!

I would SOOOO love to adopt Mabel!
Me too, my husband and I both loved her. He just retired, so we are home all day, but I don't know if we could manage 2 Newfs and a Lab in this tiny house. She reminds me so much of two of our rescue dogs who were spooked at everything and eventually settled down and became beautiful people-loving dogs who could roll with any situation.

I had a cat like that once too. It took him a month to come out from under the bed. Animals like this need time, some people want an instant dog, but these special cases need a bit more time to open up.
