We have had Harry for nearly a year at home

I am quite proud of our boy...from lunging at people and dogs, pulling like a train. he now walks politely with us to and from beach and van...in amongst all the people and dogs at Lilydale lake, which is a large dog-friendly park with lake. he loves it because he gets lots of pets from people. And he loves people now

And it's all because of you. Can't tell you how much we appreciate your pictures of summer. It's below 0 here now with a -30 wind chill and knee deep snow, and we're considered to be south. This doesn't usually happen around here, so your pictures give us hope for warm weather.

What type of collar did you use on him in the beginning?

I only use martingales...flat collar with a small amount of chain...i clicker train all my dogs and do BAT training for reactive dogs. he went out alone first....Then with Katy as she is very good on verbal commands only and add Annabelle, who is great and Tessa last...My dogs work on verbal after training. And i am very aware and ask them to heel as soon as i see other loose dogs...Lukey is very soft on lead, but in the pack he does the "may-pole" thing and walks around us all the time, causing a knot....i also have a different colour leash for each dog, so I can adjust that dog, always the same for the particular dog
......legally we are only allowed to walk four dogs in Australia..haha they don't say a size, so it could be mini dogs or newfies...i find that so funny.

Katy is good to train a puller with, because she will counter pull with me, if they get too difficult or she tells them off, she is so funny when she does that, i wish i could video it one day
