Anne, I too think i as typing while you were posting, my prayers go to you and your family. How awful mom and dad must feel. I could not imagine
Sar, I am sorry for the 6 that did not make it but this must surely mean God has something WONDERFUL planned for the one boy who did. I am glad to hear Morgan is going to be OK as well. And yes, you are entitled to fall apart when the mood strikes you. A good cry can be very theraputic.

Just a quick update,
morgan ate some raw hamburger, one pattie at 3 this morning, the pup is being bottle fed until today, i hope to put him on her, the pup is getting a pouch! morgan ate a bit of scrambled eggs, she snubbed the chicken broth but is drinking water with pedialyte in it, she was having pain tremors, but they are gone, she is wagging her tail, and went out to potty twice last night, so far minimal, i mean very minimal drops of blood on the floor.
the pup has a target spot on his show side just like his daddy has!
morgan is stretched out on her side for the first time since i brought her home,otherwise she was down but like a down stay type down.
i hope that she will accept the pup, i know she knows her pups are gone, she is depressed but i am doing my best to keep her up!

i just boiled up a chicken filet, will see if she will eat that.

MY GOODNESS! I've been away for a few days! I am literally speechless! This is not the way things were supposed to happen!
I'm glad to hear Morgan is doing well, but so sorry to hear about the loss of six pups!
My sister got the lone survivor of a Pyrenees litter several years ago, and he was an amazing dog (life cut short, however, at 7 due to osteosarcoma) - I'm sure this little fellow will thrive for many years after surviving the odds.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Morgan and the little guy!

Oh SAR, I am so sorry. I have been away and have not been keeping up with the news. And what sad news it is. 
However I am so glad Morgan is okay. I know you love her so. (As we do all our Newfs). And you're right, that special little boy will be one very spoiled puppy.

I too have not been on lately and i am so sorry for your loss Anne , and you are in my prayers too.
Sar , i am so sorry this happened to morgan and the puppies, but i am glad Morgan is ok , Tuggs was a single litter pup too, he will be so spoiled,and i know if he were mine he would be.

Thank goodness for breeders like you Sar who have the strength to go through something like this.Not eveyone could do this!!!!!!
