Photo Challenge #211 Out Of The Ordinary

It's hard to think of something original! So, I like things that are out of the ordinary or against instinct etc. I don't care what the picture is of (meaning it doesn't have to be of newfs). I'll judge it on Sunday the 25th at 8pm Eastern. Enjoy!

The only picture I could think of off hand was a friends basenji swimming. Basenjis HATE water. They hate it so much that they will not even touch their dainty little paws to damp grass to pee. Many are litter trained. :)

Against Instinct...

LOL I have a youtube video of Vino our IG getting into the kiddie pool we had set up in the back yard. IG's are notorious for not wanting to go out when it's raining or get in water....I picked him up and put him in the kiddie pool and he laid down and started drinking water! LOL

I will add some pics of my dogs climbing, they love it. And always choose to do it on most of our walks where the opportunity is to climb. They started low, but have got quite high now......

Annabelle climbing (with Tessa and Mike)

Tessa and Annabelle

Here are some more of them climbing, but not entries

Annabelle being quite adventurous

Just to show you how high one of the previous pics was

This is the highest Tessa goes

It's out of the ordinary for a bunch of old ladies to be sniffing diapers.

I'm going to try to take some more over the weekend. When does the contest close?

I'm going to guess a game at a baby shower?
Yep! Baby shower. You melt candy bars in the diapers and have to write down by sight and smell which candy bars you think they are. I left off the pictures that show the inside of the diapers. Picture Miss Lois, front, age 84, shouting, "This one's got peanuts in it!"

Driving through my neighborhood a few weeks ago (Friday, September 2nd at 10 in the morning!), I spotted this...

(my first entry)

Two little kids walking around barefoot and dressed as Ghouls...

(just for fun)

While on a walk with Mila and the little man several months ago, I spotted this near Town Square in downtown Yorkville...

(my second entry)

A Ford Taurus that had a statue of a Native American on the roof, was covered in plastic wrap/packing tape and had words written in marker all over it, including this statement; "Victory. I told you I'd get you back."

(I'm not entirely sure what the Bin Laden thing meant. I imagine it's some kind of an inside joke...)

(Mila checking things out!)

This sign is at the bottom of my block before entering the cul de sac...

I was taking a picture of a friend's pups as they ran towards me...:shocker:

Okay everyone - they were all great - thanks for playing!

1st place - Jackie and Grandmas sniffing diapers! Hilarious, loved it. I had 3 baby showers and never played that game!

Also, kudos to Bin Laden and No Outlet - very interesting!

Loved pics of the climbing newfs and golden. Thanks everyone, Jackie you are up!

Thanks, Anne! It was a great time. Don't use York Peppermint Patties--the mint odor is a dead giveaway.

I'll have a new contest posted tomorrow!
