Pet Therapy during finals

Last week was finals week at the university where my husband works. Monday and Wednesday nights they had "Pet Therapy" in the library, where the students could de-stress by petting some dogs. I signed Elvis up to go because sitting while being admired is about as "working dog" as he gets.

Here we are ready to go!










Elvis is somewhere in the middle of the crowd.




And I had to include this one. Two bulldogs were there and one (her name was Joy) just fell head over paws in love with Elvis. She was sooo smitten by him and was all up in his face the entire time. Poor girl - Elvis wanted NOTHING to do with her. She was distracting him from getting petted and if he could have pushed her away with his paw, he totally would have. I tried to tell her Elvis was just playing hard to get, but the truth is he only likes blondes :roflmao:

so sweet! Bulldogs love Turner too! They won't leave him alone when we run into one but he reciprocates and lays down to play at their level.

I like that. Looks like "Job well done Elvis." Snuffles would fit into this job VERY well...but like the picture he would be down in nothing flat. I wonder if Millikin University ever did this. They are within walking distance on a cool day. :)
