Our Riley Man

[Kodiak]

Riley is now 10 1/2 years old. He's got Cushing's Disease and is on Vetoryl and Milk Thistle daily. He's lost alot of weight and his coat is only now starting to grow back more healthy looking. He still likes to romp around the yard with our golden, Maggie (8 years old) and loves chasing the ducks away from our fence. He's become very particular with his choice of foods. No more kibble! He loves chicken, tuna fish, peanut butter/jelly, open face cheese sandwiches on honey wheat toast, yogurt, potatoes, sweet potatoes, eggs etc. We lost our first newf, Kodi when he turned 5 years old, so every day with Riley is definitely a day of "Life with Riley".

If Riley would eat filet mignon, he'd have that too! But, he doesn't eat red meat! LOL We figured, honey wheat was more healthy than plain old white toast with cheese! Hi and big newfy hugs back to Cooper from his Uncle Riley!
