Our first trip to the beach

Thanks to all the recommendations for our first NJ beach trip, we had a really fun day. I've finally unpacked the card reader to upload my photos. I take so many bad pictures, you'd think I'd give away my camera. But here are the few that I'm not too embarrassed to share.





I'm pretty sure she's thinking "I love my family, I love them!!"





Look Mom! I'm swimming! At least I think she's swimming, I couldn't always tell the difference between her swimming and walking.



Poor thing had to sit and watch us eat. At least we were sitting right next to her!



This one is my favorite. I might make it my avatar even.


Thanks for letting me share. We all got colds last week, but hopefully soon we can make another trip to the beach!!!!

I always love your pictures! I don't know anything about photography, but it's almost as if they always have some sort of cool (as in color temperature) filter over them. They just have a neat "feeling" to them. Your daughter is lovely as always and so is Suki! Such a grown-up lady now!

Thanks guys! I love Suki so much! She is almost 17 months now. I guess next month I can start saying 1 1/2 years instead of counting the months ... lol.

Thanks, Kristen. I think maybe my camera and I are over exposing the pictures a little. Or I've changed some setting that causes the colors to fade. But it's OK because I like the faded look also. Actually, sometimes I fade the color afterwards if I edit. The one with Salomé in the water is one I faded on purpose. But I didn't fade the one of everyone in the sand on the beach. I see other people's photos and they have such vibrant colors. I can never get that without it looking fake so I guess I'll stick to washed out. lol
