Ack! Very cute indeed! A sweet little baby bird! I had a simialr photo shoot done, but Rowan was 4 months and he wore an owl hat, then a lion hat and then a monkey hat. Gotta love the animal hats and costumes!

Nessa, this pic just cries out for a 'before' shot. Any way you can make a paper mache' egg? Cover a ballon with paper mache' and then pop the balloon, paint it blue, put it in the nest, next photo is Rhys in his owl outfit?

Then, for Halloween, THIS:

You can handle this in your spare time, eh? :D :run:

Terri, where did you find that costume?! I want it! (I have a thing for owls) Oooh, I have the best instructions for making an uber-cute Owl Halloween costume...hit me up for it if you want Nessa. Costumes aren't just for Halloween! Well, they shouldn't be anyhow!

I have been sending my very best wishes as well as you embark on the humbling adventure that is parenthood. This little Woodsy Owl is the cutest little owlet EVER! What a creative and precious photo shoot! Tell Pooka to continue being Inspector Newf.

Rhys is absolutely adorable! I love him! The nest thingie is a little whacko ... but you're a new mom and entitled to any and all your foibles ... especially those that involve doting on such a cute little boy!

We had the nest from the baby shower. I did NOT build it. It was a left over decoration provided by the florist, and I held onto it so we could take pictures in it once he showed up!

Oh, if I had thought about it, I would've so had one built. Or attempted to build it myself. You need to get some naked pictures of him in it, wrapped in a blue blanket or something egg-ish. Oh! Go make a papier-mache ( sp ) egg that looks cracked and stick it in there with him!

Is a 13 year old too old to dress like a baby bird and stick in a giant nest? :D
