This week my husband and I are painting our house and deck and our deck is a little old so we bought this product. It comes in a lot of colors and it restores your deck and is a solid paint that lasts longer than regular paint. It also has a gritty texture that fills any cracks and gives the deck some grip. I thought I would share because I think this will help our two out in the winter to have a rough surface to walk on and maybe this could help some of the senior newfs out there this coming winter. We love that our deck looks like new now and that it will hopefully help our two out this winter.

I was thinking about this! We had our deck re-stained last summer, and it already looks crappy again. I used a plastic shovel this winter and tried to be gentle...Maybe I'll try this stuff. Thanks!!

Just wanted to update everyone since we have had this product on our deck for almost five months. It has been fantastic and this combined with the brick patio's that my husband built off of the deck has drastically cut down on mud getting tracked into our house anytime it rains. I think because of the texture on the deck it gets almost all of the mud off of their paws before they come in. They never track anything into the house anymore which is amazing.

This is great to hear. We have discussed putting this on the concrete around our pool and on the deck. We have outdoor carpet runners for the dogs, and me, to cross the deck, but after 24 years, the deck needs some help and the regular stuff doesn't work very well. Please keep us posted.

Restore is a competing brand

I work at Lowe's and we sell both. Very thick so it does not spread very far. Needs special roller for application and is rather pricey. However, they both work very well.
