LOVE it!
We had a small herd of eleven deer go bounding through our side yard (woods) about an hour ago, then they ran up into our front woods and stood together in a bunch while the neighbor drove away, then they ran back down to the side again.
I have a pic of our Tech kitty touching noses with a doe. Those two were an odd pair one whole summer. Whenever we saw Tech in the back yard, we knew his lady friend was close by. She had two fawns that summer, and they would come out in the yard, if Tech was lying in the grass.
And here, she was just following Tech around the yard:

That is so very sweet. But I am going to be the one to throw out a concern: is it really a good idea for deer to be that tame around humans? What about hunters? How can deer tell the difference? If they are conditioned to eat out of a human's hand, what is to keep the deer from being gunned down, thinking the hunter is her friend?
