It's been ages since sharing a picture of our boy Odin Jara. I had camera in hand yesterday while we took a walk. He turned 8 this past February. Yep he's ready for a bath and brushing~well he's not really ready for a bath :)

Thanks Ronnie!
The music is keeping me busy. Building flute's is as well. We're heading south in a few days first stop New Orleans Jazz Festival. I've played there several times in the past but this year I am going as an artist demonstrator which should be lot's of fun. 4 days of great music and chit chatting with folks about flutes and music.... :)

Hawk... I live just blocks from the fest and usually make it out a few times. What will your booth be called? I'll definitely stop by and say hello!!

Everyone thanks for your comments! I concur with them all :)

Christie it would be nice to meet and visit with you. Too bad dogs aren't allowed (or are they??) as it would be nice to visit with your pup! We miss our's terribly when we're gone for so long. Here is a link to where I'll be:

My daughter posted this picture of Odin Jara on FB. He used to use the mattress for a slide when he was a puppy. :kgo_027:

Ronnie thanks for posting these videos. I love the music from Peru/Ecuador. It is so energetic and full of life. We have friends in various bands that play this music. The group Yarina is made up of a family (brothers)~they have quite an international reputation for their music. Plus they are really nice folk....

My flutes and music are very different...Have you heard it?? Since Louisiana and Australia are both south of Maine why don't we meet half way somewhere and I'll play some for you.... :)
