We're waiting for it to start here too, but looks like southern NE is getting the brunt of it. Sorry, Laurene. You'll have to teach Murphy to pull a sled. A newsman this a.m. in Springfield said today,"OK, you know what the forecast is. Please don't make me say it." I too have the lawn furniture out,was starting to plan the garden. SIGH

It's snowing here, too....the ground is covered. I guess we are expecting 8 inches here on the coast....I am tired of it. It would have been ok if we did not have those nice days....Buddy is thrilled. He loces seeing the flakes fall....he was just barking out the window at them.

Janice, you can only say it's 80 degrees if we can come down for vacation until the weather gets better up here!
We just got 4 or 5 inches between last night and this morning. Now it's a slushy icy mess ... can't even get the girls out for a walk today, I'm sure I'd fall on my face !!

Snow here too. Maybe 4 inches of heavy wet stuff. This is the first time I've been excited about it though...it was Owen's first day in the snow. He loved it! Lat week it was almost 80 degrees...I dug out my patio chairs and now they are covered in snow. I can't say I ever remember the weather being this weird!

Can I just say I am getting very tired of my turtlenecks and heavy sweaters....??? Can I???

I'm sitting at the computer, listening to the fan blow the hot air up from the cellar where the wood stove is lit to keep the home fires burning..

Did I mention that I am tired of winter and snow?? AND to think I missed 2 months of the snow this fall when I was in Northern England apprenticing at a bakery...

It was warmer in western Maine today, so any and all cleaning I did yesterday has been negated by the "poopy" who decided to dig in the mud and bring most of it into the house...

bring on summer.....

I think that's why I don't live up north. Yesterday, I was wearing shorts outside mowing the lawn and working on yard work. We do have a front coming through but still supposed to only go into 60's for couple of days and then back to 70's to 80's. :D :D

Got another note from friends in England who said that the weather is the sunniest it's been in years....
