I work out in the sticks... we are always having some strange animal, snake, etc around here.... the past several days... there have been these weird poop pellets...very slimy (in side there are dead insect parts) thought maybe it was from the big lizzard that lives here... now today this weird bloob of stuff is here along with the pellets... I know there are some smart people here... can anyone solve this mystery for us???

That doesn't really look like poop to me, but then, I'm not exactly a poop expert....(I would say thank goodness, but that could be rather interesting)
Like you said in the caption, like an organ. I agree, and it looks like intestine. Something has recently been disembowled? Maybe a fox or a hawk carrying something, has been feasting in your area?

Yep, looks like entrails to me. Often seen under tree cover, left by hawk, owl or other predatory bird. Found a few animal bones on our roof the other day, left by Mr. Hawk, who likes sitting on the top peak of our tower roof..yuck!

I agree at least that's what it looks like.

Have you got a cat? just scoop it off in the grass some where, and some scavenger will eat it over night. looks like "inards' to me....

intestines, stomach and cecum plus other innards.. done too many necropsies in my time. something was eaten and left you the yuck parts.

Coolness! That happens on the assorted 50 to 60 acres around this area..and one freq. finds oneself..standing..looking and then using a stick to rearrange portions..looking for the telltale fragments of stuff..so as to figure it out. Not appealing to see..but..given the educational op..a worthy ..side trail. ina n HB n Kesa

Our cats do this all the time after enjoying a nice mouse :) It amazes me how they can chew up a mouse apparently indiscrimantly but leave the innards intact without apparent bite marks or punctures.

Have found innards before, but spent almost a year trying to figure out occasional "mystery poop", which we think may have come from crows that visit once in a while.

It sounds like the remnant of a bird of prey or scavenger like a vulture. They sometimes drop pieces of their meals in flight or while perched. If you're seeing hawks, eagles, falcons or vultures around thats a good clue. If you see birds "mantling" (extending their wings out as if to shield something) while perched then they are feeding and hiding their meal from other predators.

As for poop.... some of us know, and some of us don't know ****!
