She's doing great. And I'm pretty certain she is limping to a much lesser degree than she was yesterday. Mark comes home tonight and he hasn't seen her since before the surgery, so I'm curious to see if he thinks the same thing.
Pari has decided that she hates the "icing" portion of the rehab. She tries to move away from me when I come after her with the bag of peas.
Everything else seems to be going well. The bruising appeared overnight from the surgery.
You can see the bruising in this photo (it's not blood on the skin, it's underneath the skin)
The incision is actually on the interior of the leg (which also helps her to not be able to get at it very easily). Here's a close up of the knee where you can kind of see the incision and staples and you can clearly see the bruising:
And what I see most of the time looking at her leg straight on.
She's really being a trooper. She's an independent kind of girl, so she doesn't always relish alot of attention. But she's putting up with all of it. I smothered a plate in peanut butter and it's freezing now so it will give her some entertainment this afternoon. Poor thing really wants to be laying outside by herself, but she's a long ways off from that kind of freedom.
