NN Glucosamine

Baloo

I am curious to how much glucosamine I should give Milo. He is an eight month old Saint weighing approximately 100 pounds. He is stiff legged, gets up like an old man, BUT...when he runs and plays he is fine. He keeps up with Baloo in playing and can out run him...he just runs a little funny.

Our dogs get the adult (human) dose relevant to your packaging.............My Abbey was the same. A bit like an old car needing to be warmed up first. She had Osteo Arthritis everywhere. But there are many reasons. Be it ACL, HD etc.
I just realized I read it wrong, I thought you meant eight years old. With a puppy it could just be going through a growing session. I would still have a visit with your vet, just to be sure........If in doubt I always have a quick chat with my vet. Ronnie

I hate to be an alarmist but I would ask your vet about the stiffness. That was Celery's first symptom that something was wrong. Better to be safe than sorry.

1000 mg would be good for him. It can be increased if there is a problem. Ester C is good to give with the gluc/chon as it helps it get absorbed. MSM works with gluc/chon too.
