Newfs in newspaper

This morning in my paper, there is an ad that reads
Going out of business sale-dog runs, various sizes & other equipment. Also adult Newfoundlands.

If anyone has more guts than I do to call this number and get the story, or can help one of thse dogs, please e-mail me and I can give you the number. It is a south western Wisconsin #.

While I'm not completely sure this is a mill type situation, the ad makes it sound like one to me. I hope I didn't over step the boundaries by posting this, I'm just hoping someone out there can help these poor dogs who are no longer pertinent to "the business" It angers me to see them advertised as part of a liquidation sale.

Can you contact rescue in your area? That would be the best way to help these newfs. But all you really have to do is to find out if they are for sale or adoption. If they are for sale, then rescue probably could help much, but you never know. But if you really get cold feet, I will call if you send me the #.

Kelly,
If you send me the number I'll call and try to get some information, then contact rescue.
My sister called me Thursday to tell me that there was an add in the paper for a 5 yr. old female Newf for $100. I called, but unfortunately the dog was gone.
