Thanks for the pictures! What a great looking pair you have. I'm sure your new guy will settle in quicker than you can say . . . uhm, something complicated ;) Looks like a great place for Newfoundlands too.

Gee whiz thanks for all the nice comments about my home and especially the raindance thing (keep it up!). At 11 Mile Resivour (should be called 4 now, but anyway) we did some splashing around and stuff but Jack keptrunning back to the camper. The park ranger then informed me that dogs have to be kept on a leash. Busted again:darn:. Worse, I got skunked windsurfing (wind died) and intensely sunburned again. Jack has been eating and exercising a lot in the last few days and loves to play. Both Newfie and Jack have this same 'newfie bear dance'. It's great to seem him play. He seems much happier but still a head case

My newf 'Newfie' a 9 yr old female and I went up to get the new Newf yesterday and on the way back I stopped at a gas station and bought a hot dog. I gave half to Newfie and half to Jake, the new boy. Newfie took her half, ran in the back of the camper and dropped it in front of Jake, then ran back to her seat. What a sweety!

Just wanted to say that this is the most amazing thing I have heard of from a dog. It still baffles me I've told the story many times. Kudos to Newfie!!!

Y, I guess it's not as surprising if you knew Newfie, she's a sweety. BTW, if you're wondering why I keep getting his name wrong. He never responded to Jack or Jake so I just kind of grunt out 'Ju[n]k'..

Just don't call him "Torrance". Especially if you live anywhere near the Stanley Hotel

Lol @ getting busted by the park rangers. We always keep ours on lead for a multitude of reasons but often run across others who are off leash. It's funny to watch them scramble to put theirs on leash when they see this giant panda bear on a string headed toward them :D

Here's some more rain dancing.
Today I get to go repair a busted water pipe and end up looking like a smurf all covered in blue junk. I hate digging holes. It ranks up there with vacuuming.
