I have a couple hints.. that I do.. mix all the wet ingredients first than add the wheat flour and oats.. and when it says a large bowl.. use the largest you have! The recipe fills 2 cookie sheets. AND when it states leave the oven door open to cool... that is the real torture part for the Newfs!!

So, does a 20 qt mixer have a big enough bowl, or do I need to use the 20kg mixer?

ahhh mudji !! THe 20 qt will work just fine..!!!! You can double and triple the recipe!
