Newf pups

Hi Everyone,

I have a litter of Newf pups (all spoken for) that I wanted to share with you. They were born early Sunday morning.

I have a puppy cam set up at: http://newfpup.com

OMG! I must have that Landseer with the mostly black back. His markings remind me of my beloved Hugo...no WAIT, I must have the black one with the little white toes...or one of the blacks with all white toes...or the other Landseer with the spots...oh hell, I'll just take all five. LOL
They are all too cute and I envy all your buyers.

Nice setup.I really like your PVC whelping box and I would love to have a Nest cam.

Congratulations on a fine looking litter.

Your video feed is addictive. I used to get hooked on the Phoebe hummingbird live cam. But this is far more cute.

Oh no...I am so sorry...that is just awful...how sad for you and for the people who were waiting for them. Just breaks your heart when that happens.

Actually, I feel a certain poignancy here. It's so sad that two beautiful pups are gone, but it's really special that you let us know.

Its a stark reminder of hard it is to be a breeder, and what a breeder has to be prepared to deal with. Just one of many tragic things that can suddenly happen. Remembering that brings me back down to earth.

I'm glad you shared with us, as painful as it is.

On a brighter note, the three pups are getting stronger every day it seems. When I peeked in, they were squirming all over the place, testing their sweet wobbly legs. That touches something deep inside me somehow. Some primal nurturing instinct that makes me want to get in there and help the little rascals.

Jane, your words have been a great comfort and I wanted to thank you once more.

On a happier note, I've just learned how to create a video clip from the puppy cam. Here is a link to the little Landseer boy heading to the buffet. I thought you might enjoy it.

It's hard having pups.
I remember rescuing Jessie and then finding out she was pregnant.
Hand feeding and everything that went with it .

The shock at finding out one had pda and then the happiness when she got through the open heart surgery.

Enjoy the little darlings though the pooping everywhere stage especially when you've just got them clean was not my favourite part.nor the sending them off to their new homes.

People who tell me they want to have a litter get amused when l tell them imagine having up to eight babies at the same time and if it doesn't go well the every two hours feeding them .
Puts some off thank heavens.

Thanks for the clip! Pretty cool how you can just snip at will.

And of course, it only makes me want that little fellow more. Gosh, he is a determined pup! LOL

But I keep telling myself to just enjoy everyone else's pups and dogs. Not quite the same but still satisfying.

So sorry for your loss. I'm sure that breeding can be equally as devistating as it can be rewarding. However, the other 3 pups look great! How's the mom doing?
