How can I tell who owns a certain registered Newfoundland dog? I have checked the newfoundland dog database, and found the dog, but I don't know if it's up to date, or how accurate it is. It's very important I get accurate information. I have been all over the AKC site but can't find a link to their database. Not sure if they have one that you can search. I don't have a registration number, just the AKC name. Anyone know how to find the info I need?

Just Google the dog's full name and see what comes up.

Only the newfoundland database came up.

Is it microchipped?

Do you know who the breeder is? You can order(pay for) a pedigree online from the AKC, based on the registered name. It won't show the owner but it should show the breeder of record.

Any other newf owner living near where the dog came from, who might know, or a Vet?
