Yes, I hope they publish the results. I was very interested to see that when I took it (early on) most of the people were not NCA members, but gave some encourgaging answers. I hope people really are doing their homework before they get a dog. At least that's what the answers indicated. I was a bit disappointed by some though. There were several questions regarding whether or not people would get a dog that had parents that were affected or carriers of certain health problems that indicated to me that these people were being unrealistic. For example, some said they would not get a dog if one parent was a carrier of Cystinuria. And some said they wouldn't get a dog if one or both of the parents had ortho problems. And for the most part, these were people who don't intend to breed. I think that's sort of sad and misinformed. Some even said they wouldn't get a dog if it had certain diseases in it's pedigree. That, I think, is impossible.
But it was early in the polling process, so I think the answers will change.
